I am the CEO of Propst Education Consulting LLC and CEO/Founder of Mind Education Foundation, Inc. In addition, I am currently and have been an administrator for over thirty years.

In those thirty years, I have served as a teacher, coach, department head and assistant principal at the elementary, middle and high school level. I coached Football and Track & Field at the state level and served in the military as an officer in the Medical Service Core. I have a Bachelor Degree in Health Science, Master of Arts in Education Leadership, Specialist in Education Leadership and a Doctorate in Education Leadership.

For over fifteen-years of my career, I served as an assistant principal not only dealing with instruction, but also discipline. I meet with on an average of five parents a day for different disciplinary matters. One matter that I deal with on a monthly basis is substance abuse. Another matter I deal with is students with mental illness. Addressing these matters has been more reactive instead of proactive which has been very disappointing. I have to deal with substance abuse and mental illness head on, face to face and it never turns out for the best interest of the child. I have seen children’s lives derailed over this epidemic of substance abuse and mental illness.
